Besides our trial related activities we also concentrate on education and the definition of quality standards in regard to the care of patients with malignant diseases.
This is done by gathering oncologists from all over the world in order to establish internationally accepted consensus on minimal standards of diagnosis and medical treatment of non-small cell lung cancer, metastatic breast cancer and metastatic colon cancer.CECOG is strongly engaged in continuing medical education in CSEE by having organized preceptorship programs, academies and topic-centered meetings, which have attracted around 2500 participants, and has recently focused on the topic of immuno-oncology. Within this context, seven preceptorship programs (with around 50 participants from CSEE) have been organized, which have been rated excellently by attendees. All these activities have resulted in the establishment of the CECOG Academy ( www.cecog.org ) in July 2017, which is exclusively dedicated to continuous medical education in the area of CSEE.Besides our trial related activities we also concentrate on education and the definition of quality standards in regard to the care of patients with malignant diseases.
