Program of the 8th PCA will include three streams:

NEW – in a special session (LOOK OVER THE EDGE) the 8th Pancreas Academy will also focus on cholangiocarcinoma and its expression based similarities to pancreas carcinoma, as well as on common features between neoplastic lesions of the biliary tract and the pancreas.

Registration & Accomodation Booking
The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 100 attendees.
Registration is facilitated through an application process with the CECOG team. Our aim is to curate a diverse conference that encompasses a range of perspectives by including different specialities, geographic regions and levels of experience.
Please note that all travel arrangements and accommodation bookings are the responsibility of the participants. We strongly advise waiting for a confirmation from CECOG before making any travel plans.

Commitment Fee and Reimbursement Policy
To ensure a seamless experience for all participants, we have implemented the following policies regarding the commitment fee and reimbursement process:
- Commitment Fee: Upon receiving your registration confirmation, a €30 commitment fee is required to secure your spot at the conference. This fee must be paid within two weeks of receiving your confirmation.
- Reimbursement Policy: Participants who attend the conference will receive for a travel reimbursement of €300.
Note that attendance during the entire course is mandatory to ensure accurate reimbursement and participation tracking. All attendees are required to sign in and sign out each day of the academy.
Cancellations
Notice of cancellation (e.g. in case of sickness, lack of funding or any other personal reasons) must be made in writing by e-mail to CECOG: cecog@wma.co.at
The cancellation will not be effective until a written acknowledgement from the CECOG Academy organisers is received.
Committment fees will not be refunded in case of cancellation.
No refunds will be granted for unattended events or early termination of attendance, in case of cancellation of speakers or any other incidents during the conference, which are beyond the control of the organisers. By registering to the CECOG Academy, delegates agree that neither the organising committee nor the academy organisers assume any liability whatsoever.
The application process will be available until March 29, 2024.
CME Accreditation
The 8th Pancreas and Cholangiocellular Cancers Academy has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 6 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
