Registration and Participation
Registration is facilitated through an application process with the CECOG Office. Our aim is to curate a diverse conference that encompasses a range of perspectives by including different specialities, geographic regions and levels of experience.
Please note that all travel arrangements and accommodation bookings are the responsibility of the participants. We strongly advise waiting for a confirmation from the CECOG Office before making any travel plans.
Cancellations
Notice of cancellation (e.g. in case of sickness, lack of funding or any other personal reasons) must be made in writing by e-mail to CECOG:
The cancellation will not be effective until a written acknowledgement from the CECOG Academy organisers is received.
No refunds will be granted for unattended events or early termination of attendance, in case of cancellation of speakers or any other incidents during the conference, which are beyond the control of the organisers. By registering to the CECOG Academy, delegates agree that neither the organising committee nor the academy organisers assume any liability whatsoever.
Application Period
The application period for the upcoming Thoracic Cancers Academy will open in March 2026. Interested participants are invited to submit their applications no later than 12 June 2026.
Application Requirements:
A complete application must include the submission of a Curriculum Vitae (CV).
All applicants will be informed of the final decision regarding participation on 26 June, 2026.

CME Accreditation
The Central European Oncology Group, as in previous years, will seek accreditation from the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME). This will allow participants of the academy to earn CME credits, enhancing the educational value of their experience.
