The Central European Cooperative Oncology Group (CECOG – www.cecog.org) conducts clinical trials in oncology, provides continuing medical education and attempts to solve access issues to appropriate cancer care in Central and Southeastern Europe and Israel. By partnering with 150 academic centers in 23 countries from the area, CECOG has and is conducting and successfully publishing an abundance of clinical trials in oncology, but has also attracted very many participants of its teaching activities.
In order to expand its activities and expertise, CECOG is now seeking a Director of Scientific Affairs who is expected to expand, further develop, coordinate and scientifically publish CECOG’s clinical trial activities.
The successful applicant must have high expertise in translational research, be an excellently published expert in malignant diseases (preferably breast and lung cancer), and have high experience in the design and conduct of clinical trials.
CECOG offers a cosmopolitan academically dynamic working environment, interaction with a highly experienced team and close contacts with opinion leaders in clinical and translational oncology from the geographic area and beyond.
