  • The Journal of Clinical Oncology has recently published an article on "Clinical Cancer Advances 2009: Marjor Research Advances in Cancer Treatment, Prevention and Screening - A Report from the American Society of Clinical Oncology" (N. Petrelli et al., Epub ahead of print, November 6, 2009).

    CECOG is proud that the JMEN trial - which was cosponsored by CECOG - is mentioned in this publication as having changed the standard of care in patients with non small cell lung cancer.

    This study was published recently in The Lancet (T. Ciuleanu, T. Brodowicz, C. Zielinski, et al.: Maintenance pemetrexed plus best supportive care versus placebo plus best supportive care for non-small-cell lung cancer: a randomised, double-blind, phase 3 study. Lancet 2009; 374:1432-40).
