June 17th, 2005:
Second Consensus on Medical Treatment of Metastatic Breast Cancer , Vienna.
May 14th, 2005: CECOG held a Scientific Committee and Investigators Meeting on the ocassion of the ASCO Congress in Orlando.
2004
29 October - 2 November 2004:
CECOG held a Scientific Committee and Investigators Meeting on the ocassion of last year's ESMO in Vienna.
June 2004:
On the ocassion of this year´s ASCO in New Orleans, CECOG held a Scientific Committee and Investigators Meeting on June 5th, 2004.
2003
January 24-25, 2003:
In pursuing our goal to develop a consensual agreement on the treatment
of various malignant disorders, we have organised a Consensus Development
Conference on the Treatment of Metastatic Breast Cancer from January
24-25, 2003 in Vienna (published in BREAST CANCER RES TREATMENT,
81: S1-S7, 2003).
2002
April 2002:
After a first very successful Forum on Oncology and Health Economics
in Rome in June 2001, CECOG wanted to further stress the importance
of this issue not only in western countries, but also in those to join
the European Union in the near future as well as in countries with limited
resources.
The aim of the Forum is to acknowledge the importance of Health Economics within
the context of an optimal and quality-oriented treatment of patients with
malignant disorders all over the world and particularly in the area
of Europe and adjacent countries.
CECOG organized a Second Forum on Oncology and Health Economics in
Vienna, April 2002.
The Results of this meeting are published in the European Journal of
Cancer, 38:1291 (2002).
2001
December 2001:
The Central European Cooperative Oncology Group (CECOG)
has successfully organized a Consensus Development Conference on the Medical
Treatment of Non Small Cell Lung Cancer in December 2001.
The Proceedings of this conference and the reached consensus have been
printed in a supplement of “Lung Cancer“ (38: S3-S7,
2002).
